Hi everyone,
I am having some problems with BL meshing in ENGRID. First of all I improved my surface mesh (I am using the 1.3 version, so it can let me define suitable edge lenghts for each boundary), with no edges longer than 0.0008 m. Then I mesh the volume and create boundary layer (see attached file for data). Sometimes I see like triangles of the surface mesh appear inside the BL. But in this case, I have not seen that. So when BL is created (it takes some hours) and I try to mesh volume again or divide prismatic BL ENGRID shows an error message like the one in the image attached.engrid_bug.jpg Have anyone idea of whatīs happening? I canīt see any triangle overlapping prismatic layer! And when I didnīt touch the surface mesh values there was not any problem... Thanks in advance for the suggestions! |

Check that you don't have overlapping faces in your geometry. I was having the same problem and it was related to overlapping faces in the .stl
That solved the problem, although I am getting now a different error :-( |
