Hi,
Could someone please list the steps needed to create a hex core mesh with a prismatic boundary layer in enGrid 1.4? I've tried creating the different parts of the mesh in different orders, i.e (1) BL -> tetra -> hex core or (2) hex core -> BL -> tetra) without success. In case (1) the hex core is somehow just not created and in case (2) the tetra mesher just ignores the hexa core and fills up the volume with tets. Thanks in advance! |

Hello,
that functionality is not finished yet, but all that is missing is to connect the hex core to the tet region. As it happened I will have a look at that today, because it is required for one of our own projects. With a little luch it will be in the master branch on GitHub soon. Cheers, Oliver |
