Hi guys,
I am here with another question. I am trying to use the "Skin depth" tool in Ansys Maxwell to realize a mesh which is finer near the surface. (My aim is the evaluation of eddy current). I select the body and I use the tool, but unfortunately, it does not produce me the mesh I wanted. Does anyone have any ideas why? I uploaded just a sketch to give you an idea of the section of my geometry (is the grey one) Cheers, Alessio |

I can not see the picture. Did you selected the object or the face to assign that action?

Can you see it now?
I mean this is a 2D geometry. In case I want to create the 3-D geometry by sweeping it around the z-axis, can you teach me how to create a skin depth mesh also in this case? Cheers, |
