I want to use MHD model in my work but there is some confusion in using it. so, plz anyone tells me the step by step process of using it. I am going to use B=3 Tesla.
I have attached the pics of the model and also some others pics in which conditions are applied. https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...22?usp=sharing |

The link is not working
however for MHD module there is a discription in Fluent appendix also you can couple fluent-maxell in workbench |

1. First, create the boundaries and initialise the CFD analysis.
2. Use the adopt option to select the mesh area where u would like to apply the magnetic field. 3. The using MHD module initialise the MHD solver and apply the magnetic field with certain value by selecting the adopted mesh area. 4. Then solve the analysis. |

If you follow the methods as I said u won't get any error. since its straightforward analysis.
It would be more clear if u attach the figures of ur analysis. |

The reason for this error would be due to solution divergence.
I think you are applying the field to the entire domain. Try to create an entry length to the flow till it gets fully developed and apply the magnetic field at the developed region. That would work I guess. |

These images are your first analysis. What changes did for new analysis?

I want to apply magnetic field from the lower side.
I follow the steps you have told. Floating point error comes when I use MHD model. First, tell me you used MHD model or not. if yes then for what kind of work. |

I think this field should be used in all sections. Calculate the current input length until it grows and use the local magnetic field. It must have happened.

Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) is the physical-mathematical framework that concerns the dynamics of magnetic fields in electrically conducting fluids, e.g. in plasmas and liquid metals. The central point of MHD theory is that conductive fluids can support magnetic fields.
