restart of the analysis in ANSYS APDL

qorka New Member Maksim Join Date: Jan 2016 Posts: 24 Rep Power: 10	i am solving coupled electrothermal problem (transient) in MADPL i must change type of the elements from Aluminium to air, but when i use command Code: antype,trans,rest for second time step, all elements go back (because of reading the database file) which important information consists in this DB file? and must i use this command in iterative problem or i can solve without?
