Virgil is on a distinguished road
Hello i'm looking for the best tools to perform the following task:

I have 3D-Parts designed with CATIA V5, which are connected to eachother for example by welding points. These 3D Assemblies shall be converted to a 2D-Mesh (triangular), which represents the surface of the assembly and the electrical proberties (including the connections). The mesh resolution is supposed to be from 5mm to a few cm, depending on the antennas to be tested. The Data shall be send as a NASTRAN-File to the Simulation-Office. This File will be processed with ANSYS HFSS and/or Altaire Feko, to simulate Radioantennas attached to the assembly.

-3D-Parts to 2D-Mesh (triangular)
-electrical connection between Parts
-Resolution 5mm to 5cm (less accurate then 3D-Parts)
-Nastran-file-Format
-possibility to automate the meshing process or parts of it

Which Mesher will be the best, if i want as much automatisation as possible?
Please give any suggestions, it dosent matter if its open source or commercial.
