I am using a map file from a previous simulation (exact same operating condition and geometry) to rerun a specified amount of time steps (this time with Wall Output Flag = 1 for boundary and stress data). I renamed the desired map file to "map.dat", input the proper "map.in" to the startup directory, and updated the necessary items in "input.in" such as start time, end time, map flag. The original map file was at a timepoint in the simulation after a Sequential Fixed Embedding (1 level) turned on, so I changed my "embedded.in" to have a Permanent embedding of the same level.

Almost instantly after running the simulation, errors begin appearing that read:

ERROR detected by Hypre ... BEGIN
ERROR -- hypre_BiCGSTABSolve: INFs and/or NaNs detected in input.
User probably placed non-numerics in supplied b.
Returning error flag +=101. Program not terminated.
ERROR detected by Hypre ... END

I must be missing some small detail in the setup. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Chris,

It can be an issue from the map file or from the solver. I think you can switch pressure solver to CONVERGE_BICGSTAB and try it again. If it still happens, please contact us at support@convergcfd.com and we need to take a look at you case to determine what the problem is. Thanks.
