Hello everyone,
I have a problem, while using emission model, CONVERGE shows the fatal error [2227] that CO2 is not an active species, the fuels are ammonia and hydrogen.
FATAL_ERROR: [2227] shell model, ctc, nox, or soot is on but CO2 is not an active species
Can anyone help me please?

Thanks for asking about this.

In order to do emission modeling, we need to ensure that the species contribute to the emission production is included in our computation.

In your simulation, do you model soot, NOX or both?

Since soot formation can be affected by CO2 mass fraction, would you check if CO2 is listed in your mech.dat?

For NOX modeling however we do not need CO2 to be included necessarily in the reaction mechanism.
