Hi all,
When I am using the crevice model in a single cylinder engine simulation, the crevice model does not converge, according to the warning: WARNING: the crevice model does not converge, reset crevice pressure! I was wondering what this means and how I can solve it? Thanks, Laurens |

Hey Laurens,
The crevice model detailed information is given in the CONVERGE manual. It uses empirical models to get massflows and other quantities in crevices. The quantities in crevice.in like pressures in crankcase and initial pressures in rings, need to be set correctly and should make physical sense for the crevice model to converge. Could please send the "crevice.in" file and the case files so we can suggest solutions? Send us the files at support@convergecfd.com Thanks, Basu
