Hi there,

I'm having an issue where I'm trying to test my direct fuel injection case setup by simulating it with the "no hydrodynamic solver." There are no errors in the geometry in the diagnostics tool and so the geometry is clean, and there are no intersections when checking for intersections during every time-step. I am running CONVERGE EXPLORE.

However when I run converge using the no hydrodynamic solver, I receive this error message:

(Rank 2) CONVERGE wrote a surface file to surface_file_rank_2_-3.810000e+02.dat at the current time. Event triangles that are closed (if any) are included and will need to be set to a flow-through INTERFACE boundary in CONVERGE Studio before running the surface checking tool.

Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated, pointing me in the right direction as to what is causing this.

Have you tried opening the surface file surface_file_rank_2_-3.810000e+02.dat in CONVERGE Studio? File > New, File > Import > Import surface file. This should usually give an indication of the cause of error.
