Swirl initialization in opposed-piston engines

Hello,
I am simulating an opposed-piston engine from exhaust ports closing to exhaust ports opening. For this purpose, the geometry only considers the combustion chamber, which is modelled as a simple cylinder. Since the scavenging process is not modelled, I need to initialize the flow field (swirl). Therefore, I set the swirl ratio to the right value (in my case 3), while the swirl profile is set to the default value (3.11). However, when I check the swirl ratio in "dynamic.out", no swirl is initialized. I also tried to set the swirl profile to 0, but the problem still remains.

How can I solve this problem?

Can you please let me know which version of CONVERGE you are using to run the case? I can give you a solution based on that

I apologise for the late reply but I have been out of office for the past few days.
The Austrian office has already explained to me how to manage the swirl initialzation in the 3.1.5 solver version.
