One-way coupling simulation of the pressure-swirl atomizer

Good day, everyone!
I obtained the file "vof_spray.dat" from a VOF simulation of the pressure-swirl atomizer. Near the orifice, the cell size is about 0.01875mm. After running the One-way coupling simulation with CONVERGE v3.0.23, the spray shape seems incorrect even though it's a hollow cone spray. As shown in the attached file, the parcels are injected in clusters. I utilized the LISA model and actived the collision model for parcles. There was no improvement even I embedded the cell size near the nozzle or increased the number of parcels in One-way simluation. Could somebody give me some advice on the One-way coupling simluation of the pressure-swirl atomizer? Thanks. |
