Hi everyone,
I'm trying to generate the FGM table using a very detailed reaction mechanism file (159 species, 2459 reactions). The computation is not only very slow as expected, but it also gives an error along the line "at t=something, maximum number of steps reached before tout". What could this be related to? Could be helpful to increase the number of discrete points in the FGM model for mixture fraction, mixture fraction variance and reaction progress variable? Best regards, Alessandro Di Mauro |

If the mechanism is too stiff, increasing the number of points in the mixture fraction space would probably make it worse. If you still have this issue, please get in touch with support@convergecfd.com. Please use your official email for all correspondence with Convergent Science. Please mention your issues and add the cfd-online thread, as reference.
