Hello,
I'm using law of wall and o'rourke & amsden heat model for temperature boundary condition in my HCCI Diesel engine simulation. The fuel film which was formed on the liner and piston surface did not vaporize even after combustion. Then, i used specified value (DI) for temperature boundary condition. Here, the fuel film vaporized. Why the film did not vaporize in the law of wall case ? What's the difference between the two boundary conditions. Kindly help. Thanks and regards Anirudh |

Hi-
Lots of things affect the vaporization of the fuel. Why don't you send your two setups into support@convergecfd.com and let us take a look to see what's going on.
