I was trying to generate the auto-ignition (TKI) table. The manual shows that it can be generated from the kicgen tool. I don't know where the tool is.

Hello

You can begin setting up a TKI table for autoignition by selecting the Table Generation: TKI from the Chemistry Configuration dock in the Chemistry module and select Zero-D simulation. You can select the Chemistry module when you launch studio. The Chemistry module will be the first option at the bottom left corner in the dialog box that appears when you launch Studio (the 3 hexagons). It is also available at the bottom left corner of Studio as the 2nd option.

I am using Converge 2.4.21 and there isn't a Table Generation: TKI from the Chemistry Configuration dock in the Chemistry module. All I get is a "kicgen out" in the zero-D simulation solver setup. After selecting this, a file called "ignition_det.dat" is generated. However, it cannot be transformed into a TKI table.

The Kicgen tool is a python script with a lot of module dependencies. It is difficult to use and does not have detailed documentation. That is why the kicgen tool has been retired. It is much easier to generate the TKI table in v3.0. I recommend generating the TKI table in v3.0 and using it in your v2.4 simulations. However, if you still want to access the Kicgen tool please contact us at support@convergecfd.com and we will be happy to help you.
