Hi all,
I have a question. Can converge do two dimensional simulation? For example, asymmetrical or planar two dimensional structrure can be simulated in ansys fluent. If I have a cylinder tube or channel composed by two infintiely large plates. I am wondering can I just simulate two dimensional structure in converge like what I did in fluent? Best regards weiqiang |

Yes. CONVERGE has the option for 2D simulation. The type of these boundaries need to be specified as TWO_D.
For more information, please look up CONVERGE_Studio_3.0_Manual, which can be downloaded from www.convergecfd.com.
