hello everyone:
there are some questions about my case ,Simulation of two - stroke engine inlet injection ventilation.
this case was a healthy case before I add the spray model in the inlet for my case .
after adding the spray, there are some warning and error suspend my case at a special time ,the air inlet has just been opened at this moment :

warning :film parcel lost through seals
message :the number of paarcels doesn't match
message :Parcel has left the domain at <x,y,z>__this location is in my inflow value.
message :stuck in an infinite loop trying to initialize region_id for cells ,cell count is 12

I have try so many ways to this problem ,but no way can help me .So I am really appreciate if someone can give some suggestions about my problem .

Good morning,

Looking at the output you've provided I would expect there is an issue with region assignment - this may or may not be what is causing your case to crash, however. The first message about parcels being lost through seals simply means that seals have removed part of the domain where there was some film mass. The second one indicates that flow reversal is taking some parcels out your inflow (based upon where you have indicated the x,y,z coordinates fall in your domain). The third message indicates that CONVERGE is struggling to assign regions properly. I would start by looking at your 3D output to see if you can find where the region ID does not seem correct to you around the time you say it crashes (intake port open, I believe you said).

Are there any other messages at the point of termination? Those could be helpful in determining the root cause of your crash.

Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

Excuse me, after reading your conversation, I wonder if seal can only prevent gas going through but cannot prevent fluid like parcels because it seems everything was fine before he added spray model. Could you explain this for me please? Thank you.

It can prevent parcels from passing through the seals, but this is slightly different. According to his the message in his log (just to be clear, this isn't an error) film parcels are being removed. These parcels are likely on a wall that sealing is removing part of in its normal process. When walls with film on them are part of the section of the domain being removed by sealing these film parcels are removed with it.

If the“ wall film” model is necessary, what should I do to avoid forming the film on the seal; Or your can provide other suggestions with directional property for my case.

thank you!
