Hi all,
Can someone please advise on post-processing CONVERGE data in Paraview please? I have converted one single file in CONVERGE to VTK in-line binary format however I have ended up with many different files and not sure where to start. Any input appreciated |

You have a group a file with ".vtm" at the end. This file you should import to paraview.
Advice : create a specific import for each parameter you want to see, really easy to be handeled by paraview (my point of view). |

Is there any difference in using the "binary" or "ascii" type conversion?

I converted the files after running a case of total time 3e-4 s. The case ran until the end the time intervals for writing the output is 5e-5. As expected I have 6 output files. I get a message after converting that says
Please indicate which variables you would like to include: all converting file post000001_+0.00000e+00.out ... numbers don't add up vertex_index, face_per_cell_index, verts_per_face_index = 0 0 0 did the file finish writing? converting file post000002_+5.00048e-05.out ... numbers don't add up vertex_index, face_per_cell_index, verts_per_face_index = 0 0 0 did the file finish writing? converting file post000003_+1.00006e-04.out ... numbers don't add up vertex_index, face_per_cell_index, verts_per_face_index = 0 0 0 did the file finish writing? converting file post000004_+1.50005e-04.out ... numbers don't add up vertex_index, face_per_cell_index, verts_per_face_index = 0 0 0 did the file finish writing? converting file post000005_+2.00001e-04.out ... numbers don't add up vertex_index, face_per_cell_index, verts_per_face_index = 0 0 0 did the file finish writing? converting file post000006_+2.50010e-04.out ... numbers don't add up vertex_index, face_per_cell_index, verts_per_face_index = 0 0 0 did the file finish writing? converting file post000007_+3.00013e-04.out ... numbers don't add up vertex_index, face_per_cell_index, verts_per_face_index = 0 0 0 did the file finish writing? normal termination!
