I am working on the CFD simulation of HCCI( Homogeneously charged compression ignition) engines using Converge. First of all I want to know whether sector simulation is possible for premixed combustion engines.
Also I need a description of the case setup for the HCCI engine simulation like what combustion model and other necessary settings I have to choose. |

Hi,
what kind of fuel do you want to use? Do you have a suited mechanism? Is the engine geometry more diesel or gasoline shape? |

I am using biogas ( methane and carbon-dioxide) and I have all the gas mechanism( reaction mechanism and thermodynamic data) files with me.
I want to do sector simulation of HCCI combustion engine, its different from SI AND CI combustion. I want the recommended combustion model and settings for the simulation. |
