How to 'pause' and 'resume/continue' a simulation running on parallel mode through command window? Cheers |

As far as i know, you can only stop and restart a simulation.
To do so, create a file called "STOP" in the case directory and then change restart flag to 1 in inputs.in to restart from the latest restart file later. |

Yes, I got to know how to stop a simulation from your post elsewhere however I believe pause/resume option is very useful at times.

Hello,
If by pause/resume you mean that the individual processes for the run stop while keeping all the associated run data in memory, then this cannot be done in CONVERGE. However, you can always resume a stopped simulation from a restart file as was pointed out previously. Best regards, Tristan |
