Hi,
Has anyone had success in simulating a supercritical fluid in Converge? I have tried defining the supercritical (sc) fluid as gas at supercritical temperature but the case crashes. I have also tried defining the sc fluid as liquid and put additional fluid property in liquid.dat but this case also crashes. I used the PR eqn of state and real gas property as a function of temperature. I am not sure of any other option. Or is it possible to write a udf that define fluid properties at sc conditions? Thanks |

Hello Afiqah,
We have simulated supercritical fluids in the past using a UDF (tabulated fluid properties and equation of state). Please email support@convergecfd.com and request access to this UDF. Thanks, |
