hello,
I'm using CVG about 5months, and i'd like to know about these error messages. plz let me know.. ERROR 1. WARNGING:cell pair is below the min_volume Please try increasing embedding lebel near location (-0.00323, 0.02213, 0.0221321) in region 0 through embedded.in ERROR 2. ERROR: Something is wrong in function get_temp_from_table_massfrac: upper_energe_value must be greather than lower_energy_value! <-- in this case, i did't activate the energy model. and 1proposal. Can the number of CPUs be used along with the number of mesh? even i have enough CPUs, but everytime i have to stop calculation and restart the analysys for increasing the number of CPUs pre-thanks..... |

Hi Doo Hee Yoon,
For error 1: Try to reducing the mesh size (you could refine base grid, add embedding, change embedding scale, etc) and the warning should go away. For error 2: Could you please give details of what you are trying to model? Could you please elaborate your last question. If you want to increase number of cores then you will have to re-launch the simulation. Thanks!

My model is a gear box. and Two gears is rotating like gear pump in box. The purpose of this alanysis is calculating of churning-friction. so, I think that i don't need to calculate enenrgy. but Error2. was occured in some situation. and amr function of converge make mesh increase. so, for example, early stage of calculation does't need many cores. (if i calculate with 36 cores, system shows some warning like "some cores has no mesh to calculate") with going calcuation -> going increase of meshes -> increase cores automatically. (of course, max cores is set by user) that's why i don't like to consume any concern after calculation for calculation time. Thank you. |

Where is the problem if you have cores without cells in a first phase of a simulation, but once cell count increases all cores are being used properly?
