Hi all,

Is there any approach to specify the velocity for droplets in boundary condition settings? It seems that the droplet velocity is determined by the mass flow rate and the nozzle diameter in spray model, and I can't find any way to specify the velocity by the user.

Actually ,this problem is the continuing of my last thread here (Droplet-laden jet flow simulatin with COVERGE). I am simulating a droplet-laden flow, and I have to specify the gas velocity distribution and droplet size & velocity for boundary conditions. Now, I could define the gas velocity distribution and the droplet size distribution, but I still have difficulties in defining the droplet velocity. Can anybody give me some suggestions?

Hello,

This capability will be there in the next version of CONVERGE (V2.4). This is planned to be released in January of 2017. You will be able to to specify parcels from an inflow boundary and assign the parcel velocity and gas velocity separately.
