Hello,

I am currently working on biofuel combustion engine using converge. I have a mechanism data for my case. But the mechanism data was too big, i need some help on how to reduce the mechanism and can anyone who expert in mechanism to help me to reduce the mechanism? currently i have a very large file with more than 1000 species and 11000 reaction.

Thank you

I have a similar issue, as i need a mechanism reduced with respect to low pressure. The Jia ones are not performing well there. Unfortunatly the manual about this topic does not clarify all questions.

Tried it once, but the result was not working at all. And now other simulations are running.

@N-Dayah: I hope you dont mind if i add my question within your thread about the same topic.

Sure... I am facing the same problem as well. Hope someone would hear our problem and help us.

But I found this thread for mechanism. Maybe you can figure out something from this? I am still trying to understand the mechanism from the manual.
