Hi,

I am trying to simulate breakthrough curve in a porous column using comsol V5.2.

I am trying to understand the changes in the behavior of the curves using different geometry of the column. I have used laminar flow physics to simulate the fluid (water with certain concentration of contaminant) flow and then used the transport of diluted species in the porous media physics for simulating the adsorption phenomenon in the column.

The behavior of curve in cylindrical column looks good but when I did the same simulation for tapered bed, the curve is not reaching the original input concentration.
Please kindly take a look at my model files and suggest me some solution.
