from sticking coefficient to preexponential factor

Hi everyone
I'm interested her in converting a sticking coefficient to a preexponential factor in chemkin. In fact I want to use Comsol to model a kinetic scheme validated in Chemkin, and Comsol doesn't manage sticking coefficients or surface species. I tried the formula given by the chemkin theory, but I didn't get the same results (with chemkin you can use both), unless multiplicating arbitrarly by 100 the value calculated... I explain: considering the adsorption of NO: NO(g) + * -> NO(ads) r(mol/cm2/s) =k cNO(mol/cm3) cv(mol/cm2) considering this equation k must be in cm3/mol/s and you can't get this by the equation: k=S/(SurfConc (mol/cm2))* (RT/(2Pi*M(kg/mol)) Has someone already solved this problem? |
