Velocity monitor with point instead of expressions!

I need to monitor velocities in some parts of a domain, but I have the next question:
May I monitor velocities with point, defining the point for its X, Y Z. Ansys CFX, has the option to choose between expression or point, but as velocity is a vector I wasnīt sure about using a point. I thing I need a plane or something like that. As the point is within the domain I canīt define any area inside domain to monitor this velocity. What do you recommend me. |

Dear Julio,
You can monitor velocities in specific point of your domain. At least there is possibility to choose different components of velocities for additional monitoring. You just need to choose the one you like, from the available in the list and specify point where you want to monitor it by setting specific coordinates values of it or pick it on domain (by simple clicking on the desired place) |

Thank you I appreciate your answer, I thought I couldnīt because it was a point and velocity is a scalar!!
