Hi everyOne

Can anybody give me some good references about simulation of wave making resistance, especially on catamaran?.Sorry if I repost this thread, I'm a newbie that I don't even know how to start it, but I wanna learn and have to do so, since that's for my final project assigment. Hope anyone could give me some help.

Not quite sure what you are asking? If you're looking for general information on free surface hull simulations then try a google search for "wigley hull CFX". The wigley hull case is a standard test case that is used in the literature. If you are looking for something more specific (i.e input of boundary conditions to simulate wave motion) please let us know.

Sorry I dont really know what to ask specifically since I'm still reading ansys help and trying to understand it now,
Honestly I'm looking for the steps to evaluating catamaran wave making resistance with ansys in general, but it would be much better if I could get it in detail. Or maybe you could give me some links or literatures that might help me?
(If I'm done reading help and got my questions specified, is there any easier way to contact you, since I'm not so sure you (and me too) gonna check my thread everyday.
