hello

The solver stopped my simulations after 49 timesteps given the following error message:

| The ANSYS CFX solver could not be started, or exited with return |
| code 255: . No results file has been created.

I've changed the the wind velocity from 32m/s to 20m/s and try a second time, but the solver stopped after 46 timesteps.

However, when I ran another simple tutorial example ,the problem did not happen.

I wonder whether there are problems in mesh. Here are the datas.

DeterminantMin = 0.782659, max = 1, mean = 0.962677437883
268122 elements with the "Determinant" diagnostic
559433 elements for which this diagnostic is undefined

Aspect ratio:0.00331543, max = 349.772, mean = 11.1167417468
746314 elements with the "Aspect ratio" diagnostic
81241 elements for which this diagnostic is undefined

miniangle:Min = 0, max = 90, mean = 44.4654433844
827555 elements with the "Min angle" diagnostic
0 elements for which this diagnostic is undefined

thanks in advance

Can you post the output file? The snippet you show is not very useful.

I suspect the problem is with writing results files, but that is just a guess.

CCL or output file. They are text files and should be small enough to post on the forum (possibly as an attachment).

The cfx5 file is a meshing file. Discuss that issue on the meshing forum - but the error message in the file is pretty clear.

I cannot see anything too unusual in your CCL file. You have not included the solver out file.
