in the name of god
Hi everybody Pressure fluctuations in turbulent flows, such as hydraulic jumps can have devastating effects on the stilling basin or chute of spillways. Consequently, in the physical modeling in the laboratory By the transducer, computer and data entry software, the pressure fluctuations are record.for example, for a point measurements are taken by a speed of 100 readings per second and duration of 30second Whether these pressure fluctuations can be achieved and observed by modeling the hydraulic jump in cfx Or because the equations Navier-stocks for turbulent flows originating from the Reynolds time averaged approach This is not done? Can model LES or metod DNS help us in this subject? |

Yes, CFX can do this sort of model. Some forms of this type of model can be done with a RANS approach but often LES is required. You will never run a DNS of this sort of simulation this side of the next millenium
