I'm facing a difficulty in Inserting the monitor points at the right location in CFX Pre. For instance if I wanted to monitor pressure at an arbitary point on a particular surface in the domain, could some one please tell me how to specify the co ordinates such that the monitor point lies definetly some where on the surface of interest.
I see that it is not possible to even do some screen selection of the desired location and that a monitor point can only be created by specifying the co ordinates of that location which makes the task difficult.

Yes, you can do screen selection of monitor point locations. Choose the select tool and click away when you are setting the coordinates.

Thanks for the reply Glenn and sorry for the abrupt question , yes I see that a screen select in this case is possible while inserting the co ordinates for the monitor point
