hi everybody
i have 2 question. i am simulating flow around pier of a bridge in river and . i have a control volume of river and the pier is in it. 1- i have 2 boundary. inlet and outlet. i define velocity for inlet. but i dont know what define for outlet. pressure or velocity or ....? and how can i define that? 2-i want to simulate for 35 min time.but i want extract 2, 5, 12 and ... minutes from this simulation output. so where can i define 35 min for cfx? and how can i extract several minutes of this simulation? thanks a lot |

It sounds like you need to do a few tutorials to get the hang of CFX. Tutorial 6 (Flow from a circular vent) deals with a transient setup. But really, do as many tutorials as possible.
To save data at specific times, see the Output control/Trn Results tab. |
