Hi,

I am modelling a rigid thin wing flapping in fluid. I have to determine the resulting pressure distribution around the wing.Since i am just a beginner i want an ansys tutorial on such FSI problem.

Well, did you consider the tutorials that came with CFX?
"Chapter 23: Oscillating plate with two-way fluid structure interaction" is a good start.

Yes i have seen tutorial23. I wanted to know the steps to create rigid plate hinged at one end which is oscillating with given angular velocity about that hinge in a static fluid medium.

So why did you not say so in the first post... If you dont need the wing to deform then there is no need for 2-way FSI but you can instead use specified mesh displacement, see tutorial 22 (ball valve).

Thank you Lance for the help. I saw Tutorial22 but i wanted to know how can i generate my own ".out" and "expression.ccl" files for my simulation. Can you suggest some steps or tutorial for this?
