Dear All
I have a problem in modeling of a bubble deformation in a air flow at CFX. During the shape deformation of the bubble, the surface becomes distorted and zigzag and so, the solution diverges. I want to smooth the bubble surface during the shape deformation of bubble by a function in CFX. Is there any smoothing function to damp the zigzag on the bubble surface? |

Yes, have a look at the free surface smoothing options and other free surface parameters. I remember seeing exactly this effect a while ago and it took a while to find the parameter to fix it - and I have since forgotten what it is (sorry!) so you are going to have to hunt through them and find it yourself.
