hi to all.
i am modelling a porous domain.and i want to know how ansys cfx calculate the effective viscosity is there any relation to calculate it manully? thanks. |

This is all described in the documentation, and if that is not good enough try a turbulence modelling text like "Turbulence Modelling for CFD" by Wilcox.

hi.
thanks for your reply.this is not what you think.in porous region and porous equation always an effective viscosity is defined.it differs from "laminar+turbulent viscosity". |
