Hi everyone,
I have a question o nthe variation of the roughnes. I have varied the roughness of my model to 0.1 at the fluid solid interface of the fluid side. Since iwanted to observe the effect of roughness on the model. But as a result in the analysis the y-plus variable seems to increase drastically from a maximum value of 2.7 for the reference case to 81. Does this mean that the results are not correct? Because in general as we increase the roughness the cooling efficiency should increase but as seen from the results it is decreasing here. Thanks in advance for the help. Yours friendly, Krishna |
