Hi all!
I'm using cfx 13 and I have severals file to solve with CFX-Solver. Because of I don't have a remote access to the computer (not cluster) where they run, I'd like to know if there is a way to schedule all the jobs i have to solve without make every 5-6 hours "start and stop". I hope you've understood my request. If not contact me. Thanks Luca |

The simplest way is to use a batch/script file. Look in the documentation about starting cfx from the command line for details.
A more advanced method is using batch scheduling software like PBS, LSF, condor (there are many others). These can queue up jobs from many solvers, allocate priorities, make sure you keep within your license and computational resources etc. For serious clusters this is a must-have. But for occassional use by a single person I would not bother. |
