Hello at all,
I have a problem at CFD Post: I have a pipe in a room and now I need a surface in the pipe to average values like the temperature. But there i didnt create a surface in ICEM, so i cant choose it. How do i create this now? I can only create a plane which fills the whole room but not only the pipe. And if I created the surface, I want to export the values of it and import it to a new CFX Pre as boundary conditions. Thanks! Flow |

You can put limits on plane extents. Or you can use a isosurface to define a sub-surface - define a surface limited by x=1mm and x=2mm (say) with a contour function and make a user surface from that contour band.

Thank you a lot.
Do you have an idea, how i can export this values as boundary values at a new simulation? |
