Hi you,
I'm doing a simulation with a compressor model. This model includes the fulid inside the compressor and the solide parts such as casing, impeller and so on. I find it's so strange that whenever I want to run this model, the solver failer even without running. The information in the solver monitor is put here: +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Starting the ANSYS CFX Solver on brutus3.ethz.ch using the command | | | | /cluster/apps/ansys/v121/CFX/bin/cfx_submit_job -W 8:00 -n 8 -M- | | 3500 -indirect-startup-path "/cluster/work/mavt/lgu/Try Whole/wh- | | ole_model_0526_002" | | | | Please wait. | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | An error has occurred in cfx5solve: | | | | Indirect start method returned non-zero exit code | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | An error has occurred in cfx5solve: | | | | Indirect solver job failed | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ Could anybody give me some suggestions or analysis that why it happened? thank you in advance Selina |

You have a problem with your indirect startup system - PBS, LSF, where ever you are running.
And I bet the space in the directory name "Try Whole" causes grief. Never put spaces in file names or directories of UNIX/Linus machines. And it is a bad idea on windows machines too. |

Thank you so much for pointing the error of the director name. I changed the name and without any other modification, it's running now
