Dear all,
a very simple question about step function in CFX... sorry but i don't remember how to use it. I am running a transient simulation and I need to impose a variable temperature at a wall domain as a function of time. I need to set up an expression for temperature such that: Temperature= 25° from 0sec up to 10sec included Temperature= 40° from 11sec up to 20sec included Temperature= 60° from 21sec up to 35sec included Temperature= 100° from 36sec up to 60sec (60sec is the end of transient simulation) Many thanks for your help. Kind regards |

You can generate this using step or if functions in CEL but it is easier to set up a function like this as a 1D interpolation function. Make it a function of time and use the function to set the temperature.
