Hi,

I have a general doubt. In a jet impingement cooling model.I am trying to vary the desing of the model.i.e introduce dimples and bumps. Then i am making the bulk mass flow at the outlet equal in the cfx setup. But still the bulk mass flow at the inlet is varying. Is it possible to make it also equal.I am giving all the other boundary conditions same in the CFX-Setup for different designs. Can you please let me know how can you fix the amount of air in the model. Should i change even my inlet boundary condition?.

Thanks in advance,

Krishna

ghorrocks is just really niceghorrocks is just really niceghorrocks is just really niceghorrocks is just really nice
For a converged steady state simulation with no mass sources/sinks, the flow in the inlets equals the flow out the outlets. If they do not match then your simulation is not converged.
