Hi,
Im trying to solve an easy duct problem. It just a heat transfer between the fluid with a combustion and the solid. And I get just a known error: | Memory Allocated for Run (Actual usage may be less) | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ Data Type Kwords Words/Node Words/Elem Kbytes Bytes/Node Real 5138.8 49.40 12.59 20073.5 197.59 Integer 6305.2 60.61 15.45 24629.7 242.44 Character 392.0 3.77 0.96 382.8 3.77 Logical 19.6 0.19 0.05 76.6 0.75 Double 237.9 2.29 0.58 1858.3 18.29 +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | ********* WARNING ********* | | The initial values file does not contain any field solution data. | | Please check the source file carefully. | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ +================================================= ===================+ | ****** PROBLEM REPORT ****** | |--------------------------------------------------------------------| | Subsystem: Input | | Subroutine name: ErrAction | | Severity level: Fatal Error | | Error message number: 001100279 | |--------------------------------------------------------------------| | Message: | | | | Stopped in routine CHECK_INTERP | | | | | | | | | | | +================================================= ===================+ +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | An error has occurred in cfx5solve: | | | | Error interpolating results onto the new mesh: C:\Program | | Files\ANSYS Inc\v121\CFX\bin\winnt-amd64\solver-hpmpi.exe exited | | with return code 1. | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | The following user files have been saved in the directory | | C:\Users\ing\AppData\Local\Temp\serp_tubofluido_co mbs_4872_Workin- | | g\dp0\CFX\CFX\Work1\Fluid Flow_001: | | | | job | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ This run of the ANSYS CFX Solver has finished. ------------- I have tried a lot of things. First, I have an 8 Gb of RAM so it shouldnt have to be my problem. I have change on the "interpolator" tab the value to 1.4 and nothing. Any idea? |

The error message is pretty obvious to me. You have not specified an initial condition. You need to specify an initial condition which is physically meaningful.

Hi Neusier, sorry was not here for some days.
As I updated to 13.0 this issue vanishes. Possibly a bug which is fixed now. If it is not possible to do the update, contact the service.

At last I changed the mesh, I did it better and the problem vanished. The Max skewness below 0.8 is my friend
