Hi,
Just need a sanity check for calculating an aircraft moments in CFD-Post. I've simulated an aircraft half-model since the port starboard are symmetrical. The global co-ord frame is at some arbitary upstream of the aircraft on the symmetry plane. I made a local co-ord frame at the required position on the aircraft. For both co-ord frames: x is postive aftwards y is positive to starboard z is positive upwards So I've used the expression: torque_y_Coordinate Frame 1@()Aircraft for the pitching moment. Likewise torque_x_ for rolling and torque_z_ for yawing moments. Thanks |
