Hi guys, i have made this rectangular room in ICEM with inlet and outlets defined as different parts. I have also applied blocking and mesh onto the geometry. When i try to write an input file for cfx it writes it in a .cfx5 format which cfxpre really cant open. But if i try import>mesh then i can open the .cfx5 file in cfxpre. But this results in just a cube with the mesh. While all my inlet/outlets etc (i.e. parts) do no longer exist. Help plz....

your problem is not clear.try to attach image. In tree structure (like sample.cfx5) expand it.there you can see the parts you created

Thanks Bharath, my problem got solved. All i had to do was convert the mesh into unstructured mesh and import .mesh file into CFX pre.
