He guys
I am simulating a 1/6 model of a compressor at different rpms and with different geometry on an unstructured net with 8 prismlayers. My momentum and Mass residuals look great as well as the turbulence residuals. But my heat transfer does not reach convergence, espacially when i apply a geometrical change to the model. The original model (no geometrical change) reaches convergence after 120 iterations. I am simulating just the fluid with the following setups inlet run static compressor wheel rotating outlet run stationary simulation Total Energy SST Adiabatic walls Mass flow outlet Air ideal Gas Opening as Inlet My main concern is the efficiency so the tmperatur is quit important. Does anybody has an idea? |
