When you activate the high-res differencing scheme then -beta variables are available in CFD-Post automatically.

Glenn, thank you for your reply.
I am using High Resolution for Continuity, Momentum, Energy and Mass Fraction. In CFX-Post, I can only see the variable "Energy and Mass Fractions.Beta". If this is one of the variables you mention, how come there are not separate values for Energy and Mass Fraction? (Also, why do I not see the corresponding variables for the remaining equations?) /Reine Last edited by gravis; May 11, 2010 at 11:28. Reason: Disregard the last question, the remaining beta's were actually available in the solution.. |

Yes, they are the variables I am talking about. I do not know why the energy equation and mass fraction equation uses the same beta.

Thanks again.
Perhaps a bit off-topic for the CFX forum, but does anyone know if there are corresponding variabes available in Fluent (for the Standard Limiter in 2nd Order Upwind, with cell to face limiting), and the names of them? Last edited by gravis; May 11, 2010 at 11:14. |
