Hi all,
I am trying to run CFX on a supercomputer that has a limit on its queue of one day. Does anyone know if CFX supports checkpointing and how it might be implemented? I may just have to request a dedicated CFX queue long enough for my jobs. |

In CFX V12 you can set a maximum CPU time for simulations. Alternately you can use cron or any other time triggered function to fire off a shell script which calls the stop CFX job script.
Most supercomputers run batch scheduling systems and they also sometimes have built-in functions to halt jobs or do checkpointing at given times. |

Thanks Glenn,
They are hopefully going to set up a dedicated queue. |
