Hello CFX Users,
I have the next problem: I am investigating a displacement of a body which is moved by the flow forces. (I have defined the deforming mesh option in my simulation.) I would like to limit the value of the body displacement with the stop of the simulation. The next time range (the next position of the body) will be defined with a new mesh, therefore the simulation should be stopped by all means. (The mesh deformation is too high so the mesh has to be changed.) For example: I monitor the „Total Mesh Displacement Y” during the solver running. I would like to stop the solver when the Total Mesh Disp. reaches a certain value. Thanks in advance; Roland |

CFX V12 has user definable stops in it. There is no easy automatic way to do this if you are using an earlier version.

The easiest approach is to upgrade to V12.
If you insist on doing it in V11 then I guess you could write out a monitor point, watch the monitor point file with a script and get the script to run the cfx5stop command when triggered. Messy but it should work. |
