Dear all,
i'm confused on the messages after solver has terminated. It does indicate that my simulation has reached the desired residual criteria and has stop the solver as shown below. ================================================== ==================== OUTER LOOP ITERATION = 368 CPU SECONDS = 2.165E+04 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- | Equation | Rate | RMS Res | Max Res | Linear Solution | +----------------------+------+---------+---------+------------------+ | U-Mom | 0.97 | 4.5E-06 | 2.9E-04 | 2.9E-02 OK| | V-Mom | 0.97 | 2.1E-06 | 1.2E-04 | 3.6E-02 OK| | W-Mom | 0.96 | 9.8E-06 | 8.4E-04 | 1.8E-02 OK| | P-Mass | 0.98 | 4.4E-07 | 2.4E-05 | 5.0 9.3E-02 OK| +----------------------+------+---------+---------+------------------+ | H-Energy | 0.98 | 7.1E-06 | 7.1E-04 | 1.6E-02 OK| | T-Energy | 0.98 | 4.2E-07 | 7.8E-06 | 5.8 1.6E-02 OK| +----------------------+------+---------+---------+------------------+ | K-TurbKE | 0.99 | 5.3E-06 | 4.4E-04 | 5.8 2.4E-03 OK| | E-Diss.K | 0.97 | 1.8E-06 | 1.4E-04 | 12.9 6.9E-06 OK| +----------------------+------+---------+---------+------------------+ CFD Solver finished: Sun Feb 21 23:08:35 2010 CFD Solver wall clock seconds: 2.1693E+04 Execution terminating: all residual are below their target criteria. Did you have any monitor points? If you did, did they level off with acceptable variances? I don't know a lot about the error messages, but my first thought is that there was a problem with wrapping up the partitioner or returning the license to the pool. If the monitor points are steady, I would take the results as acceptable, but still be somewhat skeptical (i.e. if another run is vastly different, but converges and everything else looks good, go with those results).
