Dear all.
I am working in a pump company research and development. I work in CFX. while doing CFD, I am facing problem that how do we really observe the flow at shut off through CFD. ?? what are the necessary steps that I should follow to calculate flow? currently i am working for the new pump development, where I have to plot performance curve of the pump, I have observed flow at duty point, 80% and 120% of the duty point, but that gives only 3 reading , I want to observe the flow at shut off. Thanks in advance, please do the needful support. |

What is shut off? Is that when the pump stalls against the pressure head and the flow is zero? I have never worked on pumps.
